AC Shadows Introduces Bizarre AoT Collaboration for Thanksgiving
In a surprising partnership that defies conventional forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.
Strange Adventure Disclosed
According to the authorized announcement, "An unusual encounter leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where hints of forbidden rituals and fearsome metamorphoses resonate through the darkness." The storyline features a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a clandestine sect.
The questline concentrates on "peculiar tests and a terrifying enemy" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Settings and Metamorphoses
The trailer features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser finishes with a striking moment showing a character, presumably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Prizes and Additional Content
Players who finish the mission will obtain an exclusive katana together with numerous items hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
